Bhari mehfil main tanha bitha dia us ne

Aisi kia thi nafrat us ko is masoom DIL se

Khushian chura ker gham thama dia us ne

Bahot naaz tha us ki wafa pe kabhi hum ko

Mujh ko meri hi nazroon main gira dia us ne

Khud bewafa tha meri wafa ki kia qadar karta

Anmol tha main khak main rula dia us ne

Kisi ko yaad karna to uski fitrat mein shamil nahi

Hawa ka Jhoonka samj ker bhula dia us ne.
