Ek din aye ga wo shakhs hamara ho ga

Zindgi ab mera naam na shamil krna

Gar yeh tay hey k yehi khail dobara ho ga

Jis k hone sey meri saasein chala karti thein
Kis tarha us k bagair ab guzara ho ga

Yeh achaanak jo ujala sa ho jata hey

Dil ney chup k se tera naam pukara ho ga

Jo meri rooh mein baadal sey garajtey hein Tahir

Usne seeney sey koi dard utara ho ga

Baat mushkil hey mgar jeet hi loon ga us ko

Us k dil ko joon hi pyar gawara ho ga.
