Boht khamosh reh kar jo sazaein mujh ko deta tha,

Baray sundar se jazbon ki wafain mujh ko deta tha,

Kabhi jo dard ki aatish sulgaane mujh ko lagti thi

Wo apne saans ki mehkti hawaein mujh ko deta tha,

Mein usko ajnabi samjha magr her mor per wo,

Apni nam ki sari duain mujh ko deta tha....!
